Brian Moorman's PUNT Foundation and The Town of Pittsford have teamed up to sponsor the 5th Annual Pittsford Triathlon. Come out and join Brian, his wife Amber and Buffalo Bills teammate Rian Lindell as they compete individually in this year's triathlon.
The Pittsford Tri, set for Sunday, June 1 at Thornell Farm Park, has become a northeast regional sporting attraction with 275 athletes participating in last years race. The event consists of a 300-yard swim, a 15-mile ride and a 5K run. A complimentary meal and gift bag will be provided to all racers. Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall finishers (male and female) and the top 3 men and women in each age category. Individual entry fee is $45; team fee is $90.
Registrations will be accepted through the morning of the race. Registration opens on Monday, 3/17, online or in person at the Spiegel Community Center, 35 Lincoln Avenue. An alternate online registration site is at www.active.com. Participants must pick up their Information Packet at the community center on Saturday, 5/31, 9AM - 3PM.
Event parking is available at Pittsford Mendon High School, 472 Pittsford-Mendon Road. Please use the west parking lot adjacent to the football field.
